From the 1st of January 2023, coronavirus testing is done at Soite’s test stations only on medical grounds. Testing is only done after an assessment done by a professional in the health care services. A client must contact his/her own health care station. You can also assess your symptoms and contact us via the Omaolo-service online.

If you have no underlying diseases and have mild symptoms in the airways and your general condition is good, it is usually not necessary for you to contact the health care services or to seek out coronavirus testing in the health care services. You can do a home test if you have symptoms of an infection in the airways, i.e. a fever, a runny nose or a cough. For more information, see instructions for when you suspect a coronavirus infection.

When should you seek out coronavirus testing in Soite?

Adults who are ill should seek out coronavirus testing in Soite if they:

  • have serious symptoms
  • belong to a risk group
  • are pregnant
  • work in social or health care.

A coronavirus test performed by Soite is justified for a child over the age of 12 if s/he has severe symptoms that fit the coronavirus or if s/he belongs to a risk group of a serious coronavirus disease.

Always contact Soite without delay if your condition requires it.
