The principle of the support centre is that a victim of sexual violence is provided extensive services in one place. This includes taking forensic samples, medical care and mental support for the recovery from the traumatic experience. The services are free of charge for the client. You will get care even if you do not file a police report, but if needed, the nurses help you to file one.
The Seri support centre is meant for persons who have turned 16 and older and for persons of all genders. When a person under the age of 18 has experienced sexual violence, the personnel in the health care services are by law obligated to make a child protection notification. The nursing staff is bound by professional secrecy.
