Family coaching and registering for coaching

Soite’s family centre services offer family coaching in cooperation with the Kokkola Mother and Child Home and Shelter Association and Medirex. The purpose of family coaching is to strengthen the knowledge and skills of the future parents as well as to support parenting and an everyday life that works well.

Family coaching consists of four different parts, and three of these are carried out remotely via Teams. All family coaching has the same content. Family coaching is primarily meant for first-time mothers. A partner or support person is also welcome to family coaching.

It is a good idea to schedule the doctor’s lecture and the physiotherapy part of the family coaching for early pregnancy (weeks 12-20 of the pregnancy). The other parts are scheduled for the end of the second trimester or the beginning of the third trimester.

Please note!

The family coaching is in Finnish.
