Soite expands coronavirus vaccinations with a fourth dose on August 1st in accordance with the Institute’s latest recommendation, initially for 70-79-year-olds who do not belong to a medical risk group. Last Monday, July 18th, the Institute published a message in which it recommended a fourth vaccine dose for certain population groups already in July or at the latest starting from August 1st.
Vaccinations in the Soite area will gradually expand during August to cover people aged 18-69 who belong to medical risk groups and people aged 60-69 who do not belong to medical risk groups. More information in the Institute’s bulletin.
Due to the calm COVID-19 situation in Central Ostrobothnia, vaccinations will continue on a small scale throughout July in accordance with the current plan. Vaccinations activity will be increased again from the beginning of August.
Vaccinations at Soite’s vaccination sites
From the beginning of August, it is possible for people aged 70-79 who do not belong to medical risk groups to receive the 4th vaccination dose at Soite’s vaccination sites during opening hours. Vaccination can be done by making an appointment or by seeking out an appointment-free walk-in vaccination.

Appointments opened in the digital appointment booking system are also valid for booking an appointment for the fourth vaccine dose.
