Home service for families with children
Home service for families with children is goal-oriented, methodical and fixed-term support for parenting and coping in everyday life and is carried out together with the family and other cooperation parties.
The content on this page
The key objective of home service for families with children is to strengthen the family’s own resources. This is done by guiding the family in childcare and housekeeping and by strengthening everyday skills.
Home service is provided on the basis of illness, childbirth, injury or another similar functionally debilitating cause or a special family or life situation. The need of home service is planned and defined individually together with the family. Home service is offered as a temporary or a longer-term service.
The home service is at its best an effective form of preventive work.
