Venereal diseases (sexually transmitted diseases)

If you suspect you have a venereal disease, contact via the Omaolo service. Via the Omaolo service you can fill out a comprehensive symptom checker, which makes processing your case quicker.

You can also send a message via DigiSoite’s My Healthcare service, or you can contact a nurse at your health care station via Soite’s chat or by phone. Students can also contact student health care.

In Lestijokilaakso and Perhonjokilaakso, testing and treatments of venereal diseases can also be carried out at a maternity, child health and birth control clinic. Contact via the centralized phone service for maternity, child health and birth control clinics.

Treatment is started based on the symptoms and the results that have been received about samples. Treatment is free of charge for everyone.

The only way to protect oneself from venereal diseases is to always use a condom during the entire intercourse.

A message to an infectious diseases nurse via the My Healthcare service
